The event series FAIL! was first started in 2018 by students and postdocs at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) with the aim of destigmatizing failure. Fuckup Nights (FUN) are global event series (there are even ones in Luxembourg and Brussels!) in which entrepreneurs and professionals face a crowd of strangers in order to tell them about their failures. The aim is to crack the illusion that a few chosen people have the golden touch and are simply destined to succeed in everything, while the rest of us are condemned to failing.
